Terms of use
The rules of the thing.
Shorter than you feared.
Version 1 · 14 September 2026. These terms cover tokpad and everything minted from a comment. Using any of it means they apply to you.
The short version
Five lines. The rest is detail.
- You are 18 or over. What you may hold where you live is yours to know.
- A token minted here is a memecoin, not a share and not an investment. It can go to zero, and most do.
- If a token came from your video, the pump.fun creator reward is yours (about 0.30% of trade volume on the bonding curve). Verifying and getting paid costs you nothing.
- Trade with your own money at your own risk. We create the token; we don't support its price and promise no value.
- The wallet you link is yours, key included. We never hold it and never ask for it.
The company behind TokPad is being set up. Clause 08 says who you're agreeing with in the meantime, and how to reach them.
Who this is for
You must be 18 or over. A memecoin is a silly place to meet your first market; if you're under 18, don't trade one.
On geography we say what we know and no more. Tokens live on Solana and anyone can read or trade them from anywhere, but what you're allowed to hold or trade differs from one country to the next. That's between you and your own rules - we're not going to pretend to know them for you.
What a token here actually is
Someone comments @trytokpad NAME $TICKER on a TikTok video, and a token is minted on Solana with the video's frame as its logo. That's the whole loop.
The token is a memecoin: an ordinary token on a public chain, with a price set by a market we do not control and cannot predict. It is not a share, confers no rights, pays no dividend, and is covered by no compensation or insurance scheme. Nothing on this site is investment advice or a suggestion that any token is worth owning. We turn videos into tokens because it's fun and the fee goes to the creator - not because we have any idea what your portfolio should look like.
Once a token exists it is out of everyone's hands, ours included. What you may hold, sell or declare where you live is your business and your tax authority's, not ours.
Whose fee it is, and what it costs
Every buy and sell on pump.fun pays a creator reward (about 0.30% of trade volume on the bonding curve). It belongs to whoever made the video - not the person who tagged the bot, and not us.
For the creator, everything is free: you never pay to have a token, to verify, or to receive your fee. Minting costs (a launch fee plus gas) are on us. Walking away with the fee is not income and not a promise; it's a share of whatever a market decides the token is worth, which may be nothing.
The wallet that pays creators is public and countable - the Audit page reads it off the chain - precisely so this is checkable rather than a promise.
Creators: proving it's you, and getting paid
To claim the fee, you prove the account and link a wallet. The steps are in the docs; the rules are these:
Verification is a code in your public TikTok bio. It proves whoever is asking controls the account, and it's the only thing we can check on our own. Screenshots, emails and DMs are not proof - anyone could send those.
The wallet is linked by a signature, which proves the wallet is yours. The fee can then only be paid to a wallet its owner controls. If you think a payout is wrong or missing, write to support (clause 08); a person looks at it, with an aim of a reply within 72 hours.
The wallet is yours, and so is the key
You connect your own Solana wallet (Phantom). It is non-custodial: we never hold your private key, we cannot sign for you, we cannot move or freeze your tokens, and we will never ask for your key or seed phrase.
The other side of that is blunt: lose access to that wallet and the tokens in it are gone - not recoverable by us, by support, or by anyone.
Limits, and what can change
Minting costs money, so there are anti-spam limits - how many tokens one account can trigger per hour and per day, a floor between launches, a cap per video creator, no repeated tickers. The live numbers are in the docs.
We can move those limits, pause minting, or stop serving a specific account for a reason on this short list, and not because somebody felt like it: what the treasury can afford; abuse (one account farming, a flood aimed at one creator); a legal or upstream change (TikTok, the chain, or pump.fun moving under us). Numbers that change appear in the docs as they stand.
"I never asked for this"
A token can be minted from your video without you doing anything. If you don't want it: write to support and we'll disassociate the token from your video, take it off this site, and block your account from future mints.
What we can't do is delete a token from the blockchain - nobody can - but we stop using and promoting it.
What we're on the hook for
The service is provided as it is, with the faults it has on the day you use it. We don't promise it's free of bugs, that a mint or a payout will succeed, or that any token will be worth anything at all.
We're not liable for the market value of a token, for the behaviour of Solana or any other network, for a third-party exchange you trade through, or for a wallet you lost the key to. What we are on the hook for is what the law says we are: nothing here removes a right your local consumer law gives you, and liability for fraud or for death or injury caused by us is not excluded, because it can't be.
TokPad is not affiliated with TikTok, ByteDance, Solana, or pump.fun. Their names are used to say where a token came from and which chain it lives on, and for nothing else.
Who you're agreeing with
The company behind TokPad is being set up. Its name, address and registration number appear here the day it exists. Until then you are contracting with the individual who operates TokPad.
- Contact today
- contact@tokpad.tools
- Governing law
- the operator's local law, and whatever this page says, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
There's a human on the other end of that address, with an aim of answering within 72 hours. Start there - it's faster than anything else on this page.
Changes
These terms will change, because the product changes. When a change actually affects you, the version line at the top changes with it and it's announced on the site before it takes effect. Fixing a typo or saying the same thing more clearly is not a material change. Carrying on using TokPad after a change takes effect is how you accept the new version.
